Thanks, I'm glad to know you liked it! I did start another story where Jim and Blair went to a near-canon version of Atlantis (similar backstory involving the Trust, but they got to Atlantis in the middle of second season sometime). But that story foundered before it really got going, and then I had the idea to plug Jim and Blair into this AU Atlantis, and it seemed to work better, partly because Colonel Sheppard's team doesn't need two more people added to it, but this AU John and Rodney complement Jim and Blair perfectly. It's possible but not very likely that I might go back to that other story sometime. And it wasn't a direct prequel to this one anyway, just sort of inspiration for it.
